My name is Holly Kimball and I am...

A teacher.  A daughter. A sister. A Spartan. A friend. An athlete. An inspiration.

A teacher - I officially became a teacher in December of 2007 when I graduated from                           .        I have been an elementary teacher

at                                                       in Shannon, North Carolina since 2008.

A daughter - My parents live near Akron Ohio.  As I was going through school my father was a high school principal in another district (thank goodness) and my mother ran three Family Connection offices in the school system.  The function of these offices was to connect the school and the families of students by creating family nights and getting parent volunteers.  I guess you could say I was destined to be involved in education.

A sister - My older brother lives in Portage Michigan. He is currently working on his master's degree in nursing at Michigan State University.  Although I will never admit it to him, he taught me a lot.

A Spartan

A friend - I value my close friends and the fact that we can maintain our goofiness while constantly pushing each other to be better people.

An athlete - I played number 1 singles and number 1 doubles on the                                                       Many of my favorite memories from college are from tennis season. Go Thunder! I still love to compete so I continue to play as much tennis as possible.  I'm also pretty competitive at board games - that should be a sport.

An inspiration - I will do whatever it takes to motivate, whether it is dressing up in silly outfits, dancing, getting in a dunk tank, letting a student pie me in the face, playing tennis for charity, or running a 5K - I believe if I make the effort others will too.
